I don't think Nashville would even trade Askarov for Reinbacher 1 for 1 right now today. Trotz wanted one of the big 4 centers or Michkov

I have always thought he was targeting Michkov but apparently he wanted Reinbacher, now that's according to people on here and Twitter so take those sources as you will.

Was there ever a real credible source putting any of the names/ picks in the offer other than Askarov and the 5th? To my knowledge there wasn't and this is basically just a purple monkey dishwasher of NHL trade rumor telephone. It was always just Askarov+ for the 5th. Everything else was just imagined by fans.

Link to where anyone said both 1sts were on the table with Askarov that isn't an aggregator website looking for clickbait with an actual source of the rumor?
