Can I ask why you like Liljegren so so much!?

Can you elaborate for me!? Like in what area is he best and where do you seen him being in the lineup next season or in the future!?

The fact that he’s young and good and cost controlled for at least 3 years and he stays on the 2nd line until he’s old now

That’s too vague. I need more details. There’s tons of Cheap Young RFAs you could easily pick up off Waivers or Trade a 7th Round Pick for

What makes Liljegren any good in your opinion or what exactly does he do that’s any good!? Use stats if you want, but other than where he was Drafted, I don’t just don’t see much to consider him untouchable like you do

I don’t know he’s just good cheap they probably sign him to 3Mx3 in the offseason and he plays top 4 the rest of his career until he’s old maybe not top two but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if say next year we sign tanev to a 2 year deal and maybe on the second year you gotta move him down to the second line we’ll I’m sure lily can step up to first line if you needed him to but he obviously wouldn’t be amazing by any means but he could get the job done all the same I like when he’s on the ice with Reilly they gel pretty good but it usually doesn’t last very long

I mean I wouldn't take him for less, if you can con someone else into paying a 14th F 1.3M for the next 2.5 years, more power to you.

Any Team could simply bury Reeves and the Cap Hit would only be $200k x 2.5 years = $500k. That’s not worth a 1st…

Would MIN not be interested in having Reeves back at all!? I mean that a different story, but how could you turn compensation down for taking him back

Yeah that’s not good enough my friend, seems like you’re going solely on the fact he was Drafted in the 1st Round and that he’s still an RFA

Liljegren was supposed to be an Offensive Defensemen with a questionable Defensive Game, yet when given more ice time and responsibility, his numbers actually went down…. Here’s his bio’s on Elite Prospects:

A skilled offensive defenseman with excellent skating skills. The way he combines his speed with strong puck handling skills makes him a quite spectacular player to watch. Decision making is at times a bit questionable and there is some room for improvement when it comes to his defensive game. If he puts everything together, he should become a high scoring defenseman thanks to his hockey sense, quick release and strong passing game. (EP 2017)
An active, offensive-minded rearguard who likes the puck on his stick…skates with strong fluidity and agility, Futureconsiderations.ca 2017
He has nice hands, and is tough to defend one-on-one. He can deke defenseman with a quick move at speed and drive them wide, Hockeyprospect.com 2017

Just doesn’t seem like he’s becoming the Defensemen many had projected him to be

Well for starters, Minnesota can't even afford his buried cap hit. I want nothing to do with Reaves whatsoever. He's a pylon and the fourth line is better without him.

Well that’s simply not true, but if you don’t like him or want him back on MIN , that’s one thing

Suggesting he’ll cost a 1st to dump is another thing completely

You are familiar with the GM of the Wild right? He'd probably take the trade and do a happy dance that he got paid to take one of "his guys" back. There is no way MN would ever lose a game with all of Foligno, Reaves, and Maroon in the lineup. It's way too much grit and leadership for any team to ever compete with.
