Keep your trash, Zadorov easily fetches more from 30 other teams.

Seems weird that hasn't happened doesn't it? lol
His rate is a 2nd round pick for straight swap. Thats his value as a rental.

Every single year big physical hard hitting defensemen like Zadorov fetch a 1st + more as deadline rentals.

Agreed. Aside from his size and physicality, he is an average dman and Calgary is dealing from a position of weakness because he really wants out. He had one year he put up points and that is it.

The biased Flames fans that say every other team overvalueds their players and prospects need to look on the mirror.

Again, Leafs got Jake McCabe with 50% retention for 3 years, Sam Lafferty, and two 5th round picks from CHI for a 1st and a 2nd. Jake McCabe is arguable a better player than Zadorov is. And we got 3 years at 50%. And CHI was dealing from a strength position. Calgary will be lucky to get a middle prospect or a 2nd round pick. Straight up.

Just because you Lafflanders keep repeating the same nonsense doesn't make it true.

I think they were looking for the examples of someone like Zadorov getting 1st rounders and more at deadline? If memory serves me well, he was last traded for a 3rd, two seasons ago. I mean your avatar is of him, but that doesn't make him elite.

Also there is only one Big Z and he retired already.

Ben Chiarot is the first one that comes to mind and he's also the best (as in most similar player) comparable. Chiarot fetched a 1st a 2nd and a prospect. Everybody wanted Chiarot that year just like everyone wants Zadorov now.

It will be interesting to see what he lands, but this talk about a 1st + for Nakita is laughable. Not impossible as we have seen stupid trades before, but my god he isn't worth a 1st not alone adding to it lol

Yup one trade which everyone said was a gross overpayment. Also for a player at the time playing 26 minutes a night and doing a lot more for their team - but that is fair, there is indeed one trade of a player who was ranked higher than Zadorov.

Lol. I've been shot down for saying stuff like this. I am eagerly awaiting the "bidding war" for Z and the first round pick "to start".🤣

Lol what's not true in that statement? Props on changing up your usual "Laffs" for Lafflanders...whatever that means.

Keep overrating Z, it's funny.

By the way...has the bidding war started yet?
