we have an andersson, a gallagher, and a dvo.

mtl isnt retaining for multiple years, isnt retaining for unsalted peanuts, and isnt looking to take ANOTHER GAOLTENDER.

why would mtl trade matheson? local boy, excellent contract, top defenseman on the team. thats worth MORE than a 1st.

It should be illegal for MTL fans to do Monahan to COL trades. Like COL has a competent front office and they are going to pay a 1st rd pick for a guy that doesn’t stay healthy was a cap dump and doesn’t fit their player profile.

Except he doesn’t stay healthy, isn’t a stylistic fit, wouldn’t play 18 minutes an game and COL doesn’t trade 1st rd picks or target guys that don’t fit in their profile.
