They are getting a young top 4 Defensemen, a young goalie prospect whos been great so far, a 1st rounder, a 3rd rounder and a flyer on RHP as a middle 6, bottom 6 guy. Plus the team gets younger. They are going to have to do something with how old the team is, and the bad contracts.

I don't think anybody is interested in Anderson right now.
And MTL is certainly not interested in retaining on him for 4 years.

Most of these trades are if we were to get Sorokin, at that point the value we get back is probably not much. Ive seen Habs fans say we could get a 1st for Allen which I think is crazy lol

Anderson's contract would have to be moved to fit the Sorokin deal. Thats why I moved him out. I see what your saying tho

It would cost more than a 7th to take Anderson's contract. He isn't on LTIR, so I doubt the yotes would want to pay his salary

I would say Sorokin's value is probably 3 1sts, which I'd throw another 1st rounder in there in '25 if that is what it would take

Yeah but NYI isn't going to want a collection of assets that add up to a 1st. They'll want true top assets.

Hmm funny how you can turn off cap space. no thanks on that Full contract of Allen. Stolarz is cheaper would go trade for him, if you are thinking a 3rd with no retain to a team who doesnt have the capspace.
