You take a risk with Ekblad (lot of concussion), I think Hanifin will cost you less and with player like Matthews he can become a 50 points d-men.

Would anyone want to take a chance on Ekblad even at 6m a year. Can't the Leafs find anyone Dman at a 6m price? and keep Dermot, Bracco and the pick?

grovercleveland. Would the Sabres trade Eichel and more for Ekblad? The Oilers Draisaitl and more for Ekblad? I doubt it. But somehow the Leafs have to give up so much. I don't understand.

If it's just a dream why not trade Horton for Ekblad and Lupul for Pietrangelo. Your dream sucks!

I see you are trying to say that marner and nylander are equal in value to Eichel. That is obviously hilarious.

I would fully expect it would cost us Reinhart.

Grovercleveland: Now that's hilarious. Comparing the upside of Marner and Nylander to Reinhart. That's as funny as the Sabres fans saying that Moulsen was going to selected by Vegas.
