There’s no way in hell the Habs are giving up the best pick in this trade. Also no way we take Jack Campbell without getting a first round pick back.

No, Oilers aren't trading Bouchard to dump Campbell, I already suggested it and it was shot down with an emphatic no. Also Habs aren't selling low either Campbell will cost a minimum of 2 1sts to dump, given that you added Bouchard that's likely it to dump him. That means you are sending back Allen (retained) + Harris + Kovacevic + Evans for Lavoie and a 6th. Harris likely gets you those other two assets, so now you are adding Allen (retained) + Evans + Kovacevic for free. How does any of that make any sense?

Not saying he doesn’t have value and it wouldn’t be cool to see him quarterbacking the Habs PP but don’t mistaken an offensive defenceman for an elite defender.
