Yeah you’re a touch light on his extension I think he makes at minimum 8 and that’s if he’s taking a discount

There's teams in the league that will offer $9M+ x7. That's $63M. That's a really big discount.

So Guentzel only gets 7.5 but you're completely fine with pouring 4M in cap into objectively bad players like Fleury, Kulikov, and Lyubushkin
