Kakko injury is not season ending, but Chytil going to LTIR AFTER he just started skating again isn't a good sign. NYR need to address a middle six center and a top nine winger.

Chytil was retroactive to the 3rd, simply a salary cap move, he can come back semi soon

Chytil is just there for extra short term cap. He can be activated at any point because it’s been 10 games since his injury

Chytil didn't get re-injured, its just a paper move. Rangers need to add a big hitter for bottom of lineup. Maybe two. We have too many skill players already.

If Chytil and Kakko come back during the regular season, then they have no cap for these moves

Just a cap move for call up. Sounds like Chytil skated, yet I wouldn't pencil him in long term either way which sucks. We might have to pull a Tampa and have him rest til playoffs, just like Kakko being out most of season. Meaning we could use some of that cap now. Nevermind all the fools trading an injured Kakko here today lol. With they're uncertainties, well trade futures for resignables not rentals!
