Cam Talbot is currently a front runner for the Vezina trophy, along with Adin Hill and Thatcher Demko. Not sure how that's an ouch.

Eventually sure, but if no one is reasonably available this summer, they might opt to kick the can down the road for another year, especially if Talbot shows that he can handle the starting job over the course of a whole season.

That's true, Kings are looking to win now so it's not as bad as I made it out to be. I have flashbacks of him playing as a Senator as a fan so that might be a bias I have ha.

I wonder how many people are aware that if LA beats Washington tomorrow in any fashion (incl shoot-out), the Kings would have the #1 record in the League at the 20-game mark for all teams (the Bruins and the Rangers also have 31 points at that point, but LA has more regulation wins already).
