Value is awful for Montreal.
Edmonton doesn’t gain any cap and still lacks a goalie.

one is playing in the nhl and the other is in the minors... campbel is a significantly worse cap dump

the other one probably should be in the minors, ryan reaves has more goals than him

there is alot of goalies on the ufa market. we gain a first... that's great value for two players that dont fit in our future

goals isn't everything. he's definetly not playing well but there is still hope. where as with campbel there is none left

i know they arent, but hes doing cardio for 5.5m

If Montreal was a better team, Anderson may be in the minors too. I'm not saying that Anderson isn't the better player, however, Anderson isn't anything special either. Absolutely not good enough to warrant 5M+! With that being said, i would rather keep Campbell and the pick, and just buy him out. No need to trade him for another bad contract.
