trade deadline

Description
trade deadline if they make some minor roster moves like last year they can fit this trade under the cap. they have 4 days off for the trade deadline where by paper they can make the move to fit. this gives a boost to the top line while having buch for another year. remaking the kzb line not out of nostalgia i think this is the best solution to making 3 lines work. with the lone unknown being the third line

Easy no for the blues. Don't want the Goodrow contract at all. The 1st will be late and the prospects is a meh. There is nothing of real value here for the blues

Might make sense for STL to move Buch back to NYR if come TDL they are going nowhere and are looking to get younger. But...they're not touching Goodrow with a 10 foot pole. NYR are stuck with him until the buyout window opens. So the only way a Buch trade would be possible would be if Chytil remains on LTIR the rest of the regular season. Then- maybe something like 2024 1st + Othmann would catch Armstrong's attention.

Pretty much sums it up. A bit frustrating that he is exactly what we are missing and we use to have him, but hey that is life. If Kakko develop into what we thought he be we be saying Buch who? Now...

The real frustrating thing is that Buch- following years of "tough love"- showed every sign of blossoming into the player he is now. Yet the organization made the conscious decision to pay Reaves and Goodrow rather than Buch. Just a piss poor decision which they tried to disguise as the need to give the young guys top 6 time,
