Debrusk can walk at that price

I think the Bruins should trade DeBrusk, and bring in Lindholm. With this roster, you have enough to pay him 8.5M. If Lindholm is willing to take closer to 8MX8 and Hanifin 6.5Mx8, I think they should pay up the assets to acquire them. If what they said on the radio is true a 1st+2nd in value should be enough for a competitive offer for Hanifin, a 1st + C-prospect + Debrusk should be more than Lindholm, would just be a matter if DeBrusk was willing to re-sign in CGY or if he can be flipped by CGY, add a 3rd for retention on both guys.

He’s scored at a 20 goal per 82 pace without Bergeron. Overpaying a guy just because he’s available is bad management.

One 2nd liner with Pastrnak would work but two is tough for a team wanting to contend on top of having Geekie on the 2nd line. Marchand and Poitras are also question marks. Too much for Hanifin, better spend less on D, add up front and then add where it's needed.

Hanafin and Sway probably get more $, wouldnt go much higher than 6 for JD

Don't mind signing Hanafin, but obviously the bigger need is top 6 forwards and Lohrei would be stuck on the 3rd pair for the foreeseable future

If you keep both goalies that would be 11+ mill allocated to goalies which is alot, porbably better to trade one and use money on top 6 forwards

Nylander would be ideal (but he prob resigns in TOR) or Reinhart or Lindholm, either way, Geekie in the top 6 going into next szn would be a failed offszn IMO
