Liljegren is not worth a 1st. That ship has sailed. & especially from Edmonton - they don’t need anymore soft defenceman

What has Liljegren done to deserve 3mill per year. So far he has been a 6th defenceman. NHL caliber for sure but 3million. Also Robertson has only proved he can score at the AHL level, 2mill for an AHL player is bonkers, although both of these guys have potential this is a great over payment for what they have currently produced. I also cant see Brodie and Tanev taking pay cuts at this point in their careers especially with the cap increase that is expected.

Whos on the 2nd line ? If u mean Liljegren just because ur on the 2nd pair doesn't mean ur not 6th defenceman. ARZ has (4) 6th defenceman in their starting 6

Just because ur on the 2nd pair doesnt mean ur not a number 6th defenceman. Arz has 4 6th defenceman in their starting 6. SJ has like 5 #6 defenceman in their start 6.

Depends on what metric matters to the team. Big money Toronto cares about the cap hit, which as you say is only 200k if Reaves is in the minors. The actual money is irrelevant (mostly).

The Ducks on the other hand don't care two bits about his cap hit - whether that's 200k or the full load. What the small market, revenue lacking Ducks care about is salary paid out. In that regard Reaves gets his 1.35M regardless if he's in the NHL or the AHL.

Some team might bite on him for a 3rd, but I can pretty much guarantee you it won't be Anaheim.
