I'd be passing on that if I were the Oilers. Wanner is likely going to be an NHL option during the final year of McDavid's current contract. If by jove they manage to extend both Connor and Leon, his ELC and subsequent bridge deal are going to be extremely valuable to Edmonton. I don't think Stillman is a full-time NHL option.

I think that is a really good trade for the Leafs & Sabres, a true 50/50

Deal 🤝🏻

Id do that CGY trade now while in panic mode. I wouldn't give up that much on draft day after the season is over

So what's the deal with Krebs? I don't ever get to see the Sabres play and his point totals don't look good but that's rarely the entire story. What has he had for linemates? Is he just unlucky? Or is he just not looking like he'll pan out?

Stillman is a more valuable piece than Wanner imo, but honestly the aim of the deal is moving Stillman to any franchise that may want more D depth and getting an AHL defender in return.

He's worth that package. 3 1sts is a realistic price to pay for a top pairing RHD like him with term. We have no roster room for Rosen or Savoie as it stands so we either stunt their development in the minors or trade them.

He plays 4th line mostly with Okposo and Girgensons. So his offensive instincts have been tamed a lot. His compete and feistiness have grown to the point where he's a pest who will stir things up. Still lots of upside imo just needs a chance to play more minutes with more offensively gifted linemates to show it. If he was consistently playing in our top 9 I'd peg him as a 30-40 point guy. If he got top 6 minutes on a rebuilding team I could see 40+ points being realistic

Rosen has been in the NHL and looks like he needs more time in the minors. But I meant that I would only do that trade to save this season. If not I'd rather keep the prospects and move a current NHLer
