They have too many LD so Broberg is not of any interest. Bourgault is good, Lavoie is a waiver claim.

I think you already know the answer to that, obviously the Habs say no!

1. While Bourgault, Lavoie and Campbell = Allen value wise, Broberg doesn't get you Evans let alone Monahan

2. Broberg has very little to no value in Montreal, we have Matheson, Guhle, Harris, Struble and Xhekaj all ahead of him on the depth chart at LHD. With Engstrom and Hutson coming as well we have no room for Broberg, now or in the future.

3. Monahan is gonna cost a 1st + 3rd with retention, yet you didn't even add anything in the deal to acquire him like we were just gonna throw him in for free cause we like your jersey or something!

For all these reasons and more the Habs pass easily
