Leafs would accept but would be willing to add for retention on Sissons

We don't need Garland. We have enough mid middle 6 players.

We shouldn't be spending assets on expiring 33 year olds.

That won't get us Dunn, nor would they trade him.

We are getting shafted on the Toronto trade. As much as I don't like Lauzon, Sissons is 100% not a negative asset

The Canucks trade isn't bad. Gives Canucks a depth dman and a chance to get out from Garland for next yr.

I'd add nor should NSH be looking to trade for Dunn. Or adding Bear.

What in the troll is that TOR trade though? Two solid assets with positive value, for a multi year cap dump? Trotz went to considerable expense to get rid of lackadaisical Reaves types, and add more character guys with Sissons/Lauzon type mentalities, this summer.

OP calls it a cap dump.

With the current market, it'd be hard to find a suiter for Lauzon. I don't think he really gets us anything. Sissons, though, definitely is NOT a cap dump.

Eberle is on an expiring deal, and what exactly are the Kraken going to do with the 12.85M (or 10.35M) freed up by moving Dunn and Eberle at this time of the year?

I know you're not a fan of his, but Lauzon is playing his best hockey to date, this season. I think there'd be a market for him. Probably a much better one in the off-season though, given he's got term, and isn't a deadline rental piece. I could see him returning a 3rd or 4th, this season.

Probably a 4th or 5th for a small amount of retention
