Leafs decline this everyday of the week and twice on Sundays and zero literally zero chance we spend 2 firsts, drop the two firsts and Cowan and the leafs still say no lmao

Werenski makes more than Makar, Q Hughes and Adam Fox and is not on that same level. I think he is on a bad contract. At least with Laine we know he has been capable of playing up to his contract.

Jackets aren’t retaining that much on laine and giving up their best defenseman. Especially for a rental who won’t re sign and some late first rounders.

Those guys were still RFAs when they signed their deals. If they were UFAs they would be making way more. Werenski is absolutely a 1D when healthy. He’s been injured a lot but otherwise the contract is fine. He’s top 5 for dmen in about every stat 5v5 and plays great defense if you look at advanced stats despite being on one of the worst teams in the league.

no Nylander won't stay and he's the main part of the deal. Everything else columbus doesn't need. The last time we had a reach pick London Knight, it didn't go so well

You shouldn't shouldn't all over yourself. I think he got more to stay in CBJ that is what I think. Normally he should have around 8.5.
