Flames have no interest in that and Hanifin almost certainly has Vancouver on his NTC

Why would he have Vancouver on his NTC?

Unlike other Canadian cities, Vancouver is often the only one that's left off people's NTC lists because of how nice the city is.

You have No proof that he has Vancouver on his NTC. Your just blowing smoke. If you think TO is nicer than Vancouver you are delusional.

Well obviously I have no proof. I said almost certainly.

American players will waive or sign in Toronto significantly more often because it's further south and resembles American metropolises more

The only American player on TO is Mathews and he was drafted. All the players they have signed are either from Canada or Europe. The Canucks have signed 3 Americans as free agents as well as signing Miller, who was an American UFA to an extension. Do a little research before you post.

McCabe is American and had every Canadian team on his NTC except Toronto. Miller already played for Vancouver when he signed Ian Cole is a depth defenseman that they were willing to pay 3M and Myers was clearly overpaid

They got McCabe in a trade with Chicago, he did not sign with TO. You infer that Cole and Myers were overpaid, by who's standard, yours? I missed which team you were the GM for, please let us know.

Do you not know what a M-NTC is? They prevent trades to certain teams. McCabe has a 7 team it was reported that he had every Canadian team blocked but Toronto, and then he was traded to Toronto. This entire conversation is about whether Hanifin would waive or not

Myers is vastly overpaid, that's not up for debate. Cole is probably fairly paid but very few teams had the cap space to give him that
