This doesn’t solve Carolina’s goalie consistency issue - they already have a Samsonov named Pyotr.

Canucks don't want that Plug. We are not giving a pick up for that.

Easy pass for the Canucks.
If you trade Myers for Jarnkrok it would work in my opinion.

Vancouver can use the Leafs 1st to dump Myers in a separate trade, allowing them to deal their own 1st to add a difference maker at the deadline.

There's no other way to get rid of Myers. Not even rebuilding teams are going to take him on without a high draft pick going their way.

Kuzmenko is a one hit wonder ; $5.5M for 13 goals (current pace, nowhere near last year) is not equal value to $2.1M for 20 goals (current pace same as last year) . Oh and one guy plays defense & pk

In sheltered minutes, on a 3rd line, against bottom pair defencemen, with a playmaker like Domi, there could be a rebound to his game. He's a natural goal scorer. And Leafs need more scoring from the bottom six in the playoffs. Last year they scored no more than 2 goals per game in the Florida series.

$5.5M is a lot of $ to pay for 3rd line sheltered role

It's a luxury the Leafs can afford. It will create three dynamic duos with Matthews-Nylander, Tavares-Marner, and Domi-Kuzmenko.

It would be that but I think our priority - which means $ allocation in today’s nhl, thanks Bettman 🙄 - is the d corps.
