That EDM trade is suicidal. You could remove Binnington and the Blues still run away screaming NOOOOOO. And even if they did do that trade, Campbell would almost never play.

Vancouver doesn’t have enough cap space to afford another Russian winger, and trading a first round pick plus a prospect player isn’t going to happen.

Big time disagree. The cap space is there if you're moving Garland in the deal. I've liked garland this year but Buch is a game changer in our top 6.

If this trade is available to Vancouver I think they take it.

I think something like this is the best course of action for the blues. I wouldn't take Campbell back in a deal but the overall idea of this is correct IMO. Get some assets and capspace. Doesn't need to be a full year down rebuild but they need to turn the roster over a bit and this gives them the assets and space to do so.
