I think the Lindholm deal is pretty good, I would take it.

The Flyers deal is missing a little IMO
To buyout Bailey's 5mil 1yr deal NYI traded a 2nd to Chicago, so to take Schmidt who costs 1mil more and 1 extra year, it stands to reason it will cost more than a 2nd, how much more I'm not sure.
Stanley for Seeler seems fair to me
Walker for a 3rd is a little low IMO. If Zadorov who demanded a trade and lowered his value still got a 3rd and 5th, I'd imagine Walker could get something slightly more than that maybe 2 3rds

Isn't Walker worth a 2nd himself?

The first is a bit steep for a rental, but I would do it, if the Jets continue to look good. Calgary fans are convinced they are getting far more than that though.

I wouldn't bother with the Philly deal, the Jets don't need to swap around bottom pairing defensemen and have enough in the system as is. Just ride out Schmidt's conrtact instead of paying picks and taking back players that won't make a difference.

Good feedback, thanks! I think I definitely went a little light on the Philly deal, it would take a bit more than I proposed.

Probably, I definitely went light on the Philly deal.

Yeah, that's sort of the max I would pay for Lindholm, although like you said if the Jets continue to look good, he would be such a great piece for a run. I'm sort of impartial to the Philly deal so fair enough!

I think the jets are stuck with Schmidt for the year. For one thing, the cost to add a player at the deadline plus get rid of him is too steep. Also, he's been pretty good for the jets on the bottom pairing and 2nd PP. Better for the jets just to hold onto him IMO, maybe buyout in summer or, if he plays well, a trade

Like the Lindholm deal… definitely would be a good addition to the Jets
Zero interest in that PHI trade… don’t want or need either of those players. WPG needs top pairing RHD, anything else on D is a waste of time and assets.

Yeah, I think Lindholm would be a great addition to this team. I'm sort of changing my tune on the PHI deal as well, agreed.

You cheap **** you... 😆

Yeah Idk, lots of chatter about Walker and what Philly could get for him, not sure he really moves the needle on the Jets blueline anyway and who knows what happens with the Flyers, if they're still in the hunt around the TDL there's no chance Philly ownership will let Briere sell, they'll want the playoff gate revenue.

Is there a way to get a legit top 4 upgrade with term?

Haha, that is a great question. I keep thinking about what a Pulock deal would look like if he's willing to waive for his home Province!

Whats Rasmus Andersson cost to acquire? Signed for a couple more seasons at a reasonable rate and doesn't have trade protection to deal with.

Have said it before but I just don't think Pulock is leaving the Islanders anytime soon so I don't even question it.
