Washington has no interest in Kuzmenko, and having too many Russian wingers in their roster makes no sense.
Vancouver isn't willing to trade their prospect player to Florida for Ekblad.
Florida can keep their best player Aaron Ekblad.

Maybe not this particular trade, but Ekblad could be on the trade block this offseason considering that Montour has been better and we can’t afford to keep both.

Will need to see his no-trade list next season.

Ekblad has a 12 team no trade list as of this offseason, not a full no-move

Ekblad and his future wife, just built a brand new home 15 minutes from Detroit's Little Caesars Arena. Sorry he's not waiving to be 2,500 miles from his new home.

?????? It’s not a matter of waiving his NTC. There will be 20 teams that he can be traded to without waiving. Good chance vancouver is one especially if the Canucks continue to be good.

Also, sunrise is 1300 miles from detroit. Both sunrise and Vancouver require taking a plane to get to. Doubt that who’ll be a factor in him deciding who to put on his list for his m-ntc.

JT Miller owns a home right outside Pittsburgh (and his wife works out there) and still decided to sign for 7 years in Vancouver.

Players can have 2 homes lol

Dude you had better look again? Ekblad still has the NMC for this season. His 12 team no trade list kicks in next season which is his last season under contract. So yeah Ekblad and Florida still decline.
