I doubt they sell, but I question whether they buy. You need some retention in most of these deals if they did. I’d rather sign AHL free agents than trade good players for 3rd and 4th round picks if you are in the playoff hunt.

Why is NSH the one adding a pick? Fabbro is better, younger, cheaper, and isn't a rental.

Oilers don't have the cap space for DeBrusk. Grzelcyk has struggled so I don't think you get both Fabbro and a 3rd and NSH have Josi-McDonagh-Lauzon on their left side. Unsure if the Flyers will add but I don't think JVR returns there and I think we can get at least a 3rd unless he really falls off over the next 2 months. I'd consider moving Shattenkirk.
