But what i'm pointing at, Is that Nick Robertson alone isn't getting you Scott Laughton.

That’s totally valid. I personally don’t think he’s as valuable as other people have expressed (1st +). I think given rumours that the Flyers liked Robertson, he makes a lot of sense as a centrepiece of a trade.

Laughts could've gotten a 1st before the draft, but the other GMs called Danny's bluff and it never went through. Nowadays if Laughts was to be moved for Robertson a mid draft pick like a 3rd or maybe a 2nd would be attached. It wouldn't be a huge splash but he brings solid play and is loved by everyone in the locker room.

Laughts isn't the best player on the ice most times, but damn is he a great leader.
