Honestly, now that everyone realizes that Suzuki is not better than Thomas, it may be time to start that same conversation about Hischier.

Hischier > Thomas for sure

Thomas might be slightly better offensively, but Hischier is a Selke level defensive forward and has shown he can score 30 goals and play at a PPG level to go with his elite defense

Thomas was top five in the league in puck battles won. It's no accident he's a +12 on this weird Blues team. He's excellent defensively, and against a little bit better competition. Like I said, this legit should now be a discussion. I'm not saying Thomas is for sure better. But it's close enough to ponder.
