He's looking at 8 x $9,000,000 Colorado can't afford him, Unless Gabriel Landeskog winds up on career ending LTIR.

They could make something close to that work but that would mean moving Girard and someone else. It’s the path they are on anyway with bottom pairing 4th line back up goalie and at least part of the 3rd line being $1M contracts. But I’m not convince Landeskog is going to ever come back no pro athlete that’s ever had the surgery has ever returned to anything close to their previous level if really at all. I also think Lindholm looking for $9M is a bit optimistic on his part but who knows.
