Like both trades, logical for all 3 teams involved and reasonable compensation all around.

And I could see Guentzel fitting in and being extended for sure.

We aren’t likely to extend either of those too. Canes aren’t fans of paying premium dollars through the mid 30s

5 million for a physical specimen for little value isn’t much of an argument. Pesce and Turbo have injury concerns

I'd rather kick the bush on Brady rather than Guentzel. Tkachuk-Aho-Jarvis would be an elite first line

That’s an overpayment for a LW the Canes don’t need, and almost certainly won’t extend. And the Canes are not going to give a drastic overpayment for Allen.

I won't want Guentzel... an extension into your late 30's makes me super hesitant. I'd rather go kick the bushes on Tkachuk... he fits better with what this team needs
