Losing a player like Chabot hurts, especially for a team that’s somewhat in a rebuild/retool situation.

No reason for Chicago to claim Forsberg. They can sign an equally crappy goalie in free agency for cheaper.

Chabot is not worth that imo. And personally - I don’t see the SENs attracting sought after FAs (like Tanev); maybe eventually new owner will take control but it’s still a sh$t show
