Find somewhere else to send Johansen.
CGY can retain on one or both of Tanev/Lindholm for additional/better picks.

I'd prefer Byram over Girard but think he's probably untouchable for the Avs, even if Flames were sending an extended Hanifin instead of/in addition to Tanev.

Calgary has no use for either Johansen or Girard... So minus those two you might get Lindholm if you change that third to either Gulyayev or another 1st.

only reason i had them both in the same trade is the avs defense isn’t really good rn, and they have 2 left handed offensively minded dmen (girard and byram) playing on a pair

It's just really rare that two major sells go to the same team in the same transaction.
