The way Mantha is playing I think Montreal do that in a heartbeat, Caps on the other hand…

Easy pass for Canucks.
Kuzmenko is a keeper.
Washington can keep TVR & Sonny Milano.
Canucks don't need them in their roster.

Interesting trade idea with Vancouver. I'd want a decent pick/prospect coming back with that though.
With the Kuznetsov trade. Too much to give up, NSH passes. I'd give a 2nd, 3rd and 4th for him.

I said it before and I'll repeat it here: Armia would be a perfect fit with WAS. Sure he's invisible during the regular season, but a big winger who can grind along the boads and score is exactly the Capitals playoffs style.

Now Mantha is also that kind of player, sometimes. They might want to keep him as he seems to have found his game.

Caps don't make that MTL trade when Mantha wasn't doing well, they sure as hell aren't doing it now that he's killing it.

I swear do people that still make Mantha/Armia swaps watch hockey? One has spent a significant part of the year in the AHL, the other is their team's 2nd leading goal scorer
