Carlo is a core piece for the Bruins, and they aren’t giving him up for UFA wing depth and a late first.
Arizona isn’t getting anything in this deal that they don’t already have in spades, Crouse has too unique of a skillset to let go for what amounts to spare change and a pick that’s three drafts away.

i’ve wanted crowse for a while. idk how open ARZ would be to trading him since they’re in the playoff picture. i don’t think you’re too far off if you switch roni + pontus for robertson + abruzzese. it’d be an overpay then fs by the leafs but arizona would want players with experience/potential and ready to make the jump.

If the Bruins want Bertuzzi back, they'll go for him in FA next offseason. In this scenario he's not even really a rental because the team is getting worse in the short-term by moving Carlo, so getting him early doesn't actually do anything for them.
