I can guarantee you that Jersey's not moving their best defensive guy right now for a Justin Schultz... they got like three of them on their team.

Putting aside Devils don't need an offensive minded veteran Dman;
1. We aren't about to ship out Joey just as he proves his worth.
2. We already got a 2nd for trading away Vanecek, we're not about to take another to take him back and downgrade our backup on a bad deal somebody else signed.
3. We'll be wanting picks for Schultz, not another expiring D-man in return.
It's a 'never in a million years' from Seattle.

I thought Francis was a conservative GM, does he really wanna push more chips into the middle while banking on Daccord's recent form being sustainable?
