I have to believe that Boone offer gets beat by another contender who is up against the cap ceiling. Also lmao, Boone is our 1C when he is healthy. I don't know where you got that he was our 4C.

I think Boone is worth 2 mid-late 1st round or prospect equivalent.

Maybe OP is confusing Jenner and Kuraly, since both are gritty centers who are both hurt right now.

I love Jenner and always thought he'd be a good fit for the Oilers, but no one is paying 2 firsts for him. He's 30, turning 31, and that is when power forwards start to decline. That all being said, no clue why Columbus would trade Jenner in the first place...

Detroit passes, We're not trading our best Goaltender who's signed for a reasonable $900,000 for another year after this. That gets you Reimer not Lyon.
