But in all seriousness, I took the below proposal and kinda ran with it. Personally, I see moving Zegras to the wing as the best solution to the "problem" of too many young and talented Cs, but I feel like it's at least a possibility that someone gets moved.

I'd like COL to add Lundestrom, but I'm not sure they have the trade pieces for a reasonable 2C (Not sure if Colton is there yet) and filling out the bottom six. It seems like COL's FO is more focused on 2c, but I've been wrong before.

The idea here is that they aren't able to pull off a trade for a 2C and instead go with a couple darts that improve the middle six as a whole. Lundestrom has upside, and perhaps Henrique turns out to be a better fit than RyJo. It's not as good in the immediate term as adding Lindholm, but chances are they won't be able to do that.

It's not bad. Just to see the reactions, I threw out an ACGM today that sent Ryjo and a 1st to the Ducks for Henrique and the Ducks fans weren't really on board to take on Ryjo, preferring to use the cap space somewhere else and not eat up a roster spot. Makes sense. Everybody knows Ryjo's a cap dump, so it's going to be hard to move him.

This is a fun offer! I’m curious what the Ducks fans on here think. I can’t imagine OO and the picks carry much value.

I can understand where they're coming from. There is always the twinkle that someone like Nylander will be available as a ufa AND be super inclined to sign with one's favorite team, when in reality that rarely happens.

Personally. I feel like Anaheim will have plenty of cap. But they can also buy him out and pay just 1.3M for two years.

Keep a Carlsson McTavish Zegras 1 2 3 punch then Lundy becomes our 4C — we would need to add another sniper to the mix imo

For me to trade Lundy, I’d need a 1st — I know it’s more than he is ‘worth’ but we have no need to trade him hence the high price

I don't think Lundestrom sticks around if we're shoving him down to 4C. He will just get the Sam Steel treatment and I'm more interested in having a brutal energy line if we're going to run a top 9.

If we relegate Lundy to 4C he's not getting a QO from Verbeek.

Would you offer the trio of Lundeström Jones & Leason similar contracts? Somewhere around 6 x $1,750,000
