No way the Blue Jackets are trading Jenner, he’s the heart of the team and their captain. A Rangers’ second is also not far off from the Jackets’ third, and they already have a ton of young depth options.

Columbus isn't trading Jenner, And you're at least a minimum 1st round pick shy.

At risk of sounding like broken record: Jenner isn't available, and that offer gets beat by each of the other 15 teams in playoff position if he became available. If you want a serious counteroffer, it's Jenner for this year's 1st, the 2nd you have in there, and one of Othmann/Cuylle/Perrault. Similar to the Horvat trade, except Jenner is cheaper with term, and we're not trying to get rid of him.
