Markstrom at 6 mill is not something NJD will give up significant assets for him

At that cap hit with his age, term, and NMC the value isn't there.

We'll take the contract, and pay the piper down the line in salary if he falls off. But we won't be giving up significant draft capital on top of that.

If you want more draft capital, retain

If Lindholm only costs a 1st and a 4th and they can talk to him before the trade to get a sense of whether or not he would re-sign, I think the Bruins might pull the trigger. But it will be painful to wait yet another year for a 1st round pick.

I'm not so sure that it has to be Boston , Yes he's from there but he wants to go back to the USA and exactly where ..... he'll want 7 X 7
