Drury just hangs up on you. Cuylee isn't available for trade and the Sens can keep Tarasenko.

That’s definitely tempting for the Preds, but I assume Saros would only be available for a top ten pick or a 1st and A-tier prospect. I’d assume Trotz would use a Saros move in order to get an opportunity to draft or acquire a potential 1C

A better idea would be to simply not sign Noesen. And I don't see the sens trading Norris and not wanting players to contribute on the roster immediately. A futures trade is just counter productive for that player.
Maybe someone gets moved out but my money would be on Batherson if so. Could be Chabot if they find an offer they like.

Holy overpay on that Tarasenko deal.

Goodrow might not be around for the future, but they need his Defensive game now. Plus, his Contract works beautifully for a Buyout. Much better route to take than dumping numerous assets.

Saros is a top three goalie in the NHL and only 28 years old, and I got him in this scenario without giving up a top prospect or top 10 pick.

My thinking process was that Tarasenko is worth a late 1st and Cuylle and the 4th is sweetener to take on Goodrow's contract.

For some reason I thought Cuylle was a 30 year old grinder and not a young talented player, so my bad on that.

no he is not, and if he was, i still would not trade more than a 2nd round pick for him, maybe a low lvl prospect too, goalies are way to wild to give up major or tons of assets for, just look at Campbell and others that were solid on one teams and crap out when they leave, no thanks on the gamble.

he has been bellow average this year, not forsberg/korpy levels of bad
