You’re correct, Mitts isn’t for sale.
His development has continued this season to the point where we will give him a long term extension

If by some chance we just can’t agree to a deal,
then maybe- MAYBE

We’d most likely be looking for a RD under 30, who is a defensive defenseman & can play top4 minutes
And that trade would happen in the offseason, not at the deadline

No just saying what they’d trade him for. Not straight up. You think it would entice Buffalo to sell him off for a 1st or same level player? It’s a lateral move. Mittelstadt isn’t worth the players I mentioned. Probably halfway there if that, but that’s what Buffalo would seek to move him for.
