Radko is also possibly the worst possible fit for the Avs' D system. Anaheim & Colorado have some mutual trade interests this deadline but not Radko.

Calgary isn't going to retain 3.5 mill for 6 years, unless you add another 1st maybe

Who would you say would be the players of interest?

Odd thing to say considering your head coach loves JLF and believes he'd be in the NHL right now if he weren't injured.

Yeah yeah yeah, I might have went a little hard on that but still, we aren’t trading Radko

Let Lyuby walk in the summer n plug him in, not a bad right side for a team on the come-up.

Lyubushkin, Lundestrom mostly. maybe Stalock, the Avs need a better backup and he's been decent this year.

it'd be a dream to have kadri back, but the flames aren't going to retain anything for 6 years.

They could add 5 1sts and it still wouldn't happen. Murray Edwards would never let a trade like that happen, he absolutely hates paying people to play for other teams

How do you see that. He was the only player on Anaheim that punished our forwards. Bad Fit. We need someone who can clear the crease. We keep giving up goals on tip in. I don't think you see the hole the AVs have.

That's a huge retention on Naz, and the Flames' ownership is not too keen on such deals(aka cheap). Moreover, it would take a retention slot for the next 6 years.

Kadri is playing like a $7.5M player this season based on Dom's cards at the athletic. IMO, he has been the top offensive play driver for the Flames along with Zary. He has been especially good after the heritage classic, and having 1A in the first 8 games of the season. Since then Kadri put up 13G, and 31P in 33GP.

Olausson is a former first, but his compete level is so inconsistent that I don't see him making the NHL. RJ is not a bad player, but he's going to be $2M overpaid over the next 2 years, so he has negative value. I haven't watched Beaucage, but he strikes me as a B-/C+ prospect. Long story short, I'd rather keep Kadri.

Because the Avs like their d men to jump into offensive play? Manson now vs Manson when he first joined the Avs is a good example of how the Avs want their d to play. Gudas isn’t that sort of defensemen based on my viewing.

I don’t know if “clearing the crease” is an issue or what. I’d say 2C is a bigger issue. I’m Just saying what kind of dmen the Avs like.
