Vegas can still ice a very good defense with the cap going up and Liljegren going back in the deal.

just be top heavy again next year and hope the GM doesnt spend way too much money on a bad goalie so that TMLs can build a deep competitive team in 25-26. Shouldnt move marner.

Value aside, Vegas doesn't do this. Even tho they're "Vegas" they don't have a reason to try and fix something that isn't broken. Not this season anyway

Vegas didn't need a lot of players, but they're always making moves and looking to improve. They're always tinkering their roster and they get rewarded for it. I can see Vegas trading for another big name star.

If they repeat that's a different story. But I think the Avs are stronger this year in the West.

Vegas is a team that's not loyal to their players, if they think adding Marner will make them better I can see them doing it. They put Marner on Stone's line and he'll be an even better player. They'll have two Selke finalists on the same line.

They only need to beat today's competition in a salary cap world. This isn't a Fantasy Hockey League.

Vegas doesn't need Marner.

As an Avs fan, I sadly disagree. Even if Landeskog comes back there are two big holes (2C and goalie). Winnipeg and LA certainly look like threats though. It won't be easy for Vegas.

lol zero chance we do that. We’re not taking on that cap hit, and Theo has a bigger impact on the game than Marner does
