Description

Not really worried about the cap. Assuming that Byram is the piece that gets moved for the real 2C answer. Whether that's Lindholm or Gourde or some other option. He was awesome during the cup run but it's going to come down to him or Girard and right now I choose Girard.

I'm assuming that the Kraken are out of it by the trade deadline and see Wright and Beniers as their centers of the future.

I think if Seattle ends up selling at the deadline, they'd most likely accept that offer very quickly before the Avs change their minds, although it's looking less and less likely the Kraken will be sellers given their recent form. However, I'm fairly certain Colorado wouldn't offer that deal unless something happened with Byram that I don't know about. With a trade package like that, they could aim higher in their search for a long-term second line center.
