LOL this one cracks me up.

MTL gets a #1 Dman and a guy who could get back to form quite easily, for $12M worth of hot garbage, and you want CAL to retain???

huberdeau has *THE* singlura worst contract in the entire nhl. bar none.

weakest postion, least amount of responsibilitties, no faceboofs, hes old, wingers get fewest minutes, and hes got 7 more years of this to go. as he gets older.

what part of this is appealing?

whatever it would cost the oilers to rid themselves of goalie soup, it would be similar with huby. but huby MAY be useful soon, for a bit. hopefully

You want Montreal to screw their cap situation for the next 7.5 years? why would they do that? He is BARLEY a 0.5 ppg player right now at 30 years old making over 10 million dollars until a year into the next decade, even at 7.5 he will drag the teams cap down.

Are Anderson and Gallagher good? Obviously not but they have less then half the years as Huberdeau has, you would be trading 2 bad contracts for by far the worst contract in the league. I wouldn't do it cause that would set us back years longer.

Neither team would want to do this deal imo.

He's been A LOT better these last few games. He's still not the best, but I think he might be bouncing back.

Huby has upside and skill. Maybe not to the cost of the contract, but much closer than either Anderson or Gallagher will play. Both those guys cost at least a first each to move btw.

At this time Calgary won't be paying to move Huberdeau and defininitely wont be trading Andersson.

Keep dreaming Habs fans but you won't be getting Calgary to pay you to take the guy you're hoping will be your elite franchise francophone player. We aren't stupid we know exactly what you're thinking.

BTW, Bonehead Brad is in Toronto now, talk to to him if you're looking for another idiotic trade like paying a 1st to move Monahan.

As a Habs fan, this trade makes absolutely no sense.

Yes Huberdeau contract is terrible, but it's insane to think Calgary would retain salary + take 2 terrible contracts + give up an excellent 27 years old RD who plays 25 min a night.

NHL EA trade. Since it would probably be accepted in the game.

Even on the playstation with the easiest setting this thing gets declined and the GM asks you to leave him alone to you can't propose trade anymore for a short while.
