Edmonton really forced Blake to make this move. Kings would be a wagon without trading for PLD.

Jets are first overall right now. They're winning without Kyle Connor. I think it's safe to say they're done with PLD. 😁

The Kings probably needed to move on from Kupari and Vilardi anyway, but I can only imagine what they could have gotten back in exchange for those two guys and the 2nd round pick.

But then you could say you got Vilardi, Kupari, a 2nd, and a 1st from LA in exchange for absolutely nothing.

Comedy factor is too good to pass up.

What makes you say that? Sure Vilardi has health problems, but last year was only his coming out party. Analytics beast and a better top 6 option than PLD, at half the cost. He's proving how good of a player he is rn with the Jets. Kupari is someone who is replaceable, I think he was more of a salary cap causality in the trade.

Montreal will only give up Dvorak, Mysak and a 2nd round pick, because they can get him in Free Agency in 8 years. Why give up a big package when they can wait
