What's the incentive for the Senators to trade down in the 1st round of the 2024 draft?

It depends on where we're picking and the # of spots we need to drop.

Oh so it's got to do with the draft penalty or whatever it's called?

          We don't need to forfeit a 1st until 2026.

Any scenario where we trade down in the 2024 Draft would have nothing to do with it.

The only players the Canes are interested in on the Sens the Sens wouldn’t trade.

How do you explain this trade then ?

Except when the Canes were interested in Max Lajoie, Cedric Paquette and Alex Galchenyuk.

          Thanks for asking friend.

The Canes were making good on a verbal commitment they made to the Flyers for TDA, and the league stepped in…so there you go.

The difference is that David Kase costs the Canes literally zero. DK would cost real salary cap dollars that the canes aren’t going to allocate to a player who doesn’t fit.

Come with something more difficult if you are going to be that aggressive.

The simple fix if you don’t like my feedback is to either block me or post trades to a different team. Problem solved.

No need to be so angry

I'll post trades to whichever team I please.

There's nothing you can do about it.

Because your feedback is worthless, homer.

Drafting Eiserman and Mews is just 2 more players who can't defend. Better options available

Celebrini, Lindstrom, Levshunov, Catton, Helenius, or Bransegg-Nygard with our pick depending on where we end up.

EJ Emery, Tanner Howe, Charlie Elick, and Adam Jiricek interest me lower down.
