Why would he want to play for the Leafs? His odds of winning a cup aren’t any better and he already had his stint with the Habs. Florida or even Dallas again makes more sense than Toronto.

When comparing it to other Atlantic teams, Lesfs have a low shot. At the same time, back in 2020, he begged Dubas to sign him and ended up choosing Simmonds. Perry wanted to be a Leaf

Why stop at Perry? May as well get Chara out of retirement and put him out there. Old guys who no longer matter are the way to go eh? "Perry is scary, he intimidates!". Just like Reaves eh? Yeah great idea.
