Anaheims not trading Zegras for a grab bag of lesser pieces. There is one piece in Detroit that interests Anaheim, and it's Seider. Sure, it's not a 1 for 1 trade, Anaheim would add Tristan Luneau.

"bUt He'S a OnE dImEnSiOnAl PlAyEr!!!" Yeah, so are Patrick Kane, Artemi Panarin, and Alex Ovechkin, they still have value.

"bUt He'S pLaYiNg BaDlY tHiS SeAsOn, HiS vAlUe HaS nEvEr BeEn LoWeR!!!" Yeah, too bad he's signed for two more seasons after this, plenty of time for his value to recover.

"bUt DrYsDaLe WaS tRaDeD, vErBeEk Is ClEaRiNg HoUsE!!!" You clearly miss the nuance of the trade, Anaheim was overflowing with puck moving defensemen, yes, it hurt to loose Drysdale, but Mintyukov had emerged as a replacement on PP1 for him. Other than being right shot, he wasn't unique on our roster, and we always struggled to find him a D partner ever since we traded Lindholm.

And hurt is what it's going to take to acquire Zegras, if you heard the news tomorrow that Detroit had acquired Zegras, and it didn't immediately fill you with dread to hear the cost, then it's not enough payment.

Man wrote a novel defending an argument that wasn't even made yet. Trauma does crazy things.

Yeah man, two middle pairing LHD, 28OA, and a 3rd line center totally buys you top 6 forward with RFA control. That's a craptastic offer and you know it.

In reality you'd probably get Detroit's '24 pick, with Boston's going to Ottawa. Kasper as a 3C is meh. Certainly hasn't had the best D+2, but also had knee surgery to start his summer so.

I didn't realize Zegras is the best player in hockey. Perhaps the greatest hockey player of all time?

You have serious issues man. 🙄

Now go off on another useless rant. 😬

Didn't you hear? Zegras is better than Gretzky and Lemieux. 😬

Don't worry about it. Yzerman wouldn't even make that offer. 😂

Enjoy the Ducks fans..

Here's some fun..

Zegras was just put on Chris Johnston trade bait list at theathletic and ahead of John 'cap dump' Gibson. Oh no the diatribe is coming in waves of copy and paste for me...

Its almost like Verbeek, a GM that didnt draft Trevor and doesnt value players like Trevor or his friend, Drysdale, Pat may want to deal Zegras or something eh?!

But nah Ducks fans that thought their hot start was sustainable and they were a monster team, they obviously know best lmao

Not only bizarre trauma but posts the exact same thing over and over. If youre going to be petty then at least be original. Yikes.
