Novak is starting to slow down (1 goal in last 20 games) a bit after a breakout last year and fast start this year. I'd say keep Linus, probably not a deal breaker, if Van are willing to trade the 24 first for another forward. Definitely needs a condition like reach SCF or WCF.

If anything, he’s starting to heat up. He was thrown for a loop by his injury back in November, his shot finally looks to be coming back, and he’s just looking better out in the ice. Though you’re right, this package is too much for him. I could see a straight up first being far more likely

Going to cost more than a late 1st for a Center entering his prime on an entry level contract who has already shown capable as a top six forward and whose UTe projects him go develop into a 1st line equivalent Center.

He's a third line center. Dont swallow the sell job. First is way too much.
