I dont know if NJD want Marner. I dont see any subtractions for any moves in 23-24, which might be quite substantial.

And all these moves ARE the future, I cant see them trading their best options for 2024 and 2025 for futures

Jackets need quality over quantity so they’d never consider that. Robertson would be stuck in the AHL in Columbus so no need for him

Hanifin was offered over 7.5 million from Calgary. He's getting more. Lindholm wanted 9+ million from Calgary in the summer to resign. So no way those deals get it done. As a result can't replace the Marner money with proper offence lost in the trade.
Also new jersey has no need for more offence. They need goaltending and defence after letting go of graves and Severson.

Bad idea. Marner stays. Lindholm isn't even half the player he is.

Elias Lindholm just turned down 8 x $9,000,000 to remain in Calgary. Taking 3 x $7,000,000 in high tax Toronto is totally delusional. You're not getting him for anything less than 7 x $9,000,000 to 7 x $9,500,000.

Not sure there's any way the Devils can turn this down.
