On a contender Shane Pinto is nowhere near a 2C, He's a 3C at best. And he's not worth anywhere close to that kind of return.

We have to look at these trades from the other teams perspective. Why would Ottawa trade Pinto? The answer is they wouldn't

I mean he's about to sign a 1 year deal for under $900k so he would certainly take more if offered. But he has no leverage with contract negotiations after the suspension.

Also both teams say no. Overpay to Ottawa with regards of overall value but I'll still take quality over quantity with Pinto and I'm sure Staios does the same.
